Arinsal is part of Vall Nord and is just one of 3 resorts that your lift pass will cover you for. Arinsal, Pal and Arcalis all combine to create one hell of a ski area with something to aid or challenge all level of snow lovers.

1KM SKIABLE DROP IN ALTITUDE
Arinsal is also home to the largest skiable descent in altitude in the Pyrenees. Top to bottom of the mountain is not to be scoffed at and is just over a 1KM drop in height obviously much longer in distance. Don’t worry there’s a few bars along the way for refreshments. The run starts at the top of La Capa, Arinsal infamous Black run, which has areas of piste and off piste. Once you’ve skied the daunting part a nice open blue run means you can give your ass a minute or two to stop twitching before you arrive at Les Morades (The Crest Run). A winding narrow blue run with hair pins, drop offs and jumps to make sure you will definitely enjoy the relaxing chairlift back up to the main ski station.
Pal
At the top of “the hill” you can catch the cable car to one of Vall Nords other resorts; Pal. Pal is a postcard venue with tree lined runs and chairlifts that meander through the forest. Very different feel to Arinsal due to the nature of the runs but equally a great experience. A choice of green, blue, reds and blacks will keep you busy and entertained. Just remember you will need to be at an intermediate level to ski over to Pal. For those beginners amongst you, there is a free ski bus to take you to La Massana where you can ride the new cable car to Pal’s beginner area. This might come in handy for those 1st timers who would like to try your hand on the skidoo’s in Pal.
Arcalis
|
Arcalis is the 3rd ski area and Monday to Friday is like your own personal mountain resort. Arcalis is not sold by tour operators so it’s a bit of a secret to most. Boasting a huge ski area, off piste, snow park and a free ride area Arcalis is a great option for those of you who have a little more experience! Arcalis is also the home of ski by night/fondue and wine session and for those of you who don’t mind the deep freeze you can have a blast at ice diving! |

Mogul clinics
It might help you warm up your dancing feet for the night ahead. If you fancy a blast at the moguls/bumps we can offer clinics in the bumps and exercises out of the bumps to improve your technique or to give you that daunting/hilarious introduction to the bad boys!
Piste performance
General all round improvement but aimed at those of you looking to push your high performance skiing on the piste. With new techniques and ideas to push those boundaries safely but that will also get that ass twitching!
Off Piste
This is obviously dependent on the conditions, the last thing we want to do is take you off piste skiing and it turn in to a rope free abseiling session. If it’s safe and if its good we can help you in that deep stuff, irregular stuff and general ski improvement away from that groomed piste.
