How do I pay?

We are operating a cashless system across festival bars, merch and food stalls at Snowboxx. It’s safer and easier than using your bank card or cash. It also means less queuing and more riding and dancing.

Please take a photo of or note down the 8-digit number on the back of your RFID chip, you’ll need this to claim your refund.
CREATE TOP-UP ACCOUNT

How does it work?

Your festival wristband will have an RFID chip that can be topped up and used like a prepaid bank card across all festival bars, the merch stand and other festival traders. All prices will be in Euros.

You can top up your wristband online before the festival, or at one of our top up points across the festival site.

These stations accept card payments only. Stations will be busy during the first few days so we advise to top up online and skip the queues.

HOW CAN I TOP UP ONLINE?

Easy, just follow these
simple steps:
01. Activate your account
Visit the link below to activate you account using your unique code that we've emailed to you.
02. Add funds
Choose the  amount you want to add, starting at 20€.

Any leftover amounts can be refunded after the festival.

Add as much credit as you’d like in advance to save time and make the most of your time in the mountains.
03. Confirm your top-up
Your balance will update within a few mins and you can download your receipt if required.
04. Sit back and relax
You now have money on your account, you can spend this on the bars, merch and festival traders.

This is easier than topping it up on site.
TOP UP ONLINE

Can I refund any unspent credit?

Absolutely. Feel free to top up in advance as much as you would like, as any leftover is refundable online after the festival.

Please take a photo of or note down the 8-digit number on the top of your RFID chip — you’ll need this to claim your refund.

Refunds will open on the 24th of March at 12 midday and you will have 2 weeks to claim yours and you will be able to get your refund by scanning the same QR code as topping up!

Please make sure to claim yours by 23:59 on 10th April 2026. After that point you will not be able to apply for any leftover funds on your wristband but not to worry, we will send you an email when the refund window opens to remind you.

Fees

Please note there are some small fees involved in using the cashless system:
• Activation fee: 1€
• Refund fee: 1.50€
These help us cover part of the costs of running the cashless system and the commissions charged by the credit card providers.

Location and opening hours for top-ups

There are three easy ways to top up your wristband at Snowboxx.
01. On your phone
Scan the QR code on your wristband and top up online anytime, day or night.
02. Self-service totems
Use one of the six top-up machines located around the site, available 24/7.
03. In person
Visit a top up station during opening hours.

What happens if I lose my wristband?

Your wristband should remain securely fastened to your wrist. There shouldn’t be any reason for you to remove it, until the event has ended. You should treat your wristband as you would cash or your bank card.

From our experience, wristbands very rarely break. If you lose your wristband, we won’t be able to recover any remaining balance. However, if you’ve taken a photo of the 8 digit number on the back of your RFID chip, you will be able to claim a refund after the festival.
