We are operating a cashless system at Snowboxx. It’s safer and easier than using your bank card or cash. It also means less queuing and more riding and dancing 🕺

Please take a photo of the 6 digit number on the back of the RFID chip as this will be required to claim your refund.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Your festival wristband will have an RFID chip that can be topped up and used like a prepaid bank card across all festival bars, the merch stand and other festival traders. All prices will be in Euros.

You can top up your wristband online before the festival, or at one of our top up points across the festival site.

These stations accept card payments only. Stations will be busy during the first few days so we advise to top up online and skip the queues.

HOW DO I TOP-UP ONLINE?

Easy, just follow these simple steps:

1. Sign up for a cashless account online using your email address.
2. Add the amount of money that you want to top up.
3. When you get to Snowboxx, you will exchange your e-ticket for a wristband that has your money loaded on to it. You can skip straight to Step 5!
4. If you haven’t created your online account in advance, no problem! Just come back to this page URL and create an account OR go to the dedicated event top up stations at the festival to add funds to your wristband.
5. You're now ready to get purchasing on site!

CAN I STILL USE CASH OR CARD?

You can still use cash or card at vendors outside of the festival such as restaurants and for your hotel deposit.

All the festival bars including main stage and the boxx and vendors including merch will require payment through your festival wristband.

WHERE CAN I USE MY WRISTBAND TO PAY?

You can use it across all festival bars, Folie Douce, downtown bars, as well as the merch stand and other festival traders.

CAN I STILL BRING CARD / CASH?

Yes, you should still bring a card for the hotel security deposit and your bank card or cash for restaurants and other places in the resort.

CAN WE JUST PAY BY CARD / CASH?

Cashless payments are much quicker and help us reduce queues at the bars.

It’s also more convenient because you don’t have to search for your card or phone to order drinks, simply tap with your wristband.

This also means less chances of losing your card or phone while abroad. You can even leave them at the hotel.

CAN I REFUND ANY UNSPENT CREDIT?

Absolutely. Feel free to top up in advance as much as you would like, as any leftover is refundable online after the festival.

Refunds will open on the 25th of March at 12 midday and you will have 2 weeks to claim yours.

Please make sure to claim your refund by 23:59 on 8th April 2024.

After that point you will not be able to apply for any leftover funds on your wristband but not to worry, we will send you an email when the refund window opens to remind you.

FEES

Please note there are some small fees involved in using the cashless system:

• Activation fee: 1€
• Refund fee: 1€

These help us cover part of the costs of running the cashless system and the commissions charged by the credit card providers.

TOP UP OPENING HOURS

There will be two categories of cashless stations available onsite:

First, there will be self-service recharge stations operational 24 hours a day.

Additionally, there will be staffed cashless stations positioned throughout the festival grounds, operating from 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Here are the locations and the opening hours:

• Help Desk: Saturday - Saturday 09:00- 02:00 Sun - Sat- 09:00- 19:00
• Mainstage: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 19:00h - 00:30
• Apres - La Folie Douce: Sunday - Friday from 14:30 - 19:00

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND?

Your wristband should remain securely fastened to your wrist. There shouldn’t be any reason for you to remove it, until the event has ended. You should treat your wristband as you would cash or your bank card.

From our experience, it’s very very rare for one of the wristbands to break. If you lose it, we won’t be able to recover any balance but if you have taken a photo of your 6 digit number on the back of the RFID chip you will be able to claim a refund after the festival.
